Can my dog eat carrots? Why your dog certainly can eat carrots, in fact, it’s great for them. It’s perfectly safe and nutritious, and very healthy.
Here are some of the benefits of feeding your dog Carrots:

Vitamin A - Carrots are rich in Vitamin A, which is essential for bone growth, reproduction, cellular differentiation and a good immune response.
Other Essential Vitamins and Minerals - potassium, niacin, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and vitamins B, C, D, E and K.
Supports Eye Health - Carrots are loaded with lycopene and lutein which are essential phytonutrients that may help protect eyes from free-radical damage and UVB radiation.
Aids Digestion - If your dog has loose stools, by adding carrots to his diet, the added fiber may help to add some bulk to your dog’s stools.
As always, with any new food, it’s always best to feed your dog only a little at first. Wait to see of there is any adverse reaction like diarrhoea, itching and/or vomitting, if any, before you let your dog eat more. When in doubt, please consult your veterinarian. Carrots may cause some gas and intestinal upset if your dog is not used to the additional fiber. Always provide plenty of fresh drinking water to assist the fiber through the digestive system comfortably, and to prevent blockages.

With the recent COVID-19 pandemic, it has certainly changed the way many hotels manage staycations, especially when they have to solicit business from the local community due to travel restrictions and the sheer lack of tourists. For many hotels that were already pet-friendly prior, the challenge was, very few allowed dogs above the 7kg. It is uncertain if the Amara Sanctuary Resort at Sentosa was one of those that changed that, because our beloved Kuro is 9kg! That said, whilst this was not sponsored by them, we would like to give an honest review about our experience.
So if you’ve decided to go on a Staycation with your pet at one of the pet-friendly hotels in Singapore, you have to think about what you want to prepare for your pet. Remember to keep them as comfortable as possible. Most of them prefer to have their comforts, habits and schedules. So it’s important to make them feel welcomed and at home while you’re in a different place. We signed up for it, but they didn’t!
